Matter is proudly participating in the ArtsBrookfield exhibition, "Under The Sun" curated by Kelly McCrae at Toronto's First Canadian Place. The exhibit features the work of 16 artists working across multiple mediums, including Siwa Mgoboza. The title, "Under the Sun" is derived from the idiom "everything under the sun" and refers to everything that "is possible" or everything one can possibly imagine. Artists in this group exhibition directly or indirectly reference the sun, which we have historically depended on to nurture our cultural forces, our creative impulses and the capacity to sustain life overall.
